Emesco Development Foundation is a dedicated grassroot pro-poor community development organization based and operational in Kibaale District, in Mid-western Uganda.

Emesco Development Foundation was founded in April 1998 to essentially address the poor living conditions of the rural communities of Kibaale District. Emesco is currently involved in 5 major sectors namely:

  • Water and Sanitation
  • Health
  • Agriculture
  • Enviroment
  • Primary education

The work of Emesco Development Foundation is currently benefitting well over 180,000 rural poor people in Kibaale District. This great work is supported by a number of European and US based development organizations, which include among others:
